Question by Rickrollin: Whats it called when people make up tragic stories for attention?
Most of the stories are about people dying, drug addiction, car crashes, ect. Is there a psychological term for this?

they usually tend to be pathological liars. there is a compulsion to lie about even menial details to make their stories more interesting, which often stems from feeling uncomfortable in social situations (which may or may not be due to low self-esteem).
