Opiate Addiction Help?

Question by Tyler: Opiate Addiction Help?
So ive been doing low dose opiates on and off for about a year. I started ever since I was out for 4 months from hockey with a labral shoulder tear, damn the pharmaceutical injury. Ever since my grandma died I’ve been really depressed , and I’m too embarrassed to tell anyone about this problem. I would really like to be rid of this. I’m a college athlete on the deans list and im training for a marathon, opiates are not conducive to reaching my potential in any of these things. Whenever I dont take them I have minor withdrawal symptoms: Night terrors, Runny Nose, Restless Legs, Trouble sleeping, worst of all terrible hopelessness and anxiety. I have a pre disposition to anxiety(which i have been treated for with more drugs bleh), manic personality, and addiction within my family my grandma(deceased) was also addicted to them, as is my dad, and my other grandma is a former alcoholic. Just to give some background.
