I’ve had friends who have been, and generally they just come out with more contacts for drug hook-ups. So, through my observations, no, the rehabilitation center is not an effective means to help drug addicts. Rehab is, however, an effective means for reducing your sentence if ever you are charged of a drug related crime 😉

Not unless that person has established his/her resolve to get better and the rehab centers teach them alternative ways to cope
