I just want to travel and dissappear, but I’m stuck here at the barber shop dealing with crazy barbers….I own the shop, it rough stuff !

Milk and Oreo cookies – the Oreo’s contain natural “uppers” and milk facilitates the transfer from the stomach to the brain of the natural endorphines. Other than that a viewing of Monty Python and the Holy Grail or Young Frankenstein ususally pulls me out of a funk. Also, if you sit down and write out all the good things about you and your life (got a great smile? write it down)… that sometimes helps.

Try and set aside some time where you can just relax and focus on yourself. Do what ever you need to to try to relax, maybe outlet your thoughts or talk to someone about how you feel.

It’s hard to maintain a normal healthy life style when your mental health isn’t well. I find my room always reflects my state of mind, and when I’m depressed and not together my room is chaotic and messy because I simply haven’t the energy or motivation to clean and do basic everyday stuff that I would normally do.

It sounds like you’re in a stressful position, keep an eye on your diet and sleep patterns to make sure they’re all ok and don’t be afraid to take a break, you don’t have to dissapear, some people just need a time out to get their head together.
